"O waters that were present since the world began, coalesce around me and become my shield!"

You summon a dome of roiling, ripping water.

The dome is 1m thick, 4m high, and 8m wide, centered on you. This dome is opaque on the outside and translucent on the inside, and remains stationary for the duration of this spell. When the dome appears, if the dome cuts through a creature's space, it must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails it is forcibly ejected to the outside of the dome and takes 5d6 Water damage. On a successful save, it takes no damage and can choose which side of the dome it ends up on.

Creatures in the dome are completely obscured from those inside, as are those outside from creatures within. Acid, Earth, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, or Wind damage cannot pass through the dome. Any melee weapon attack made through the dome suffers Disadvantage, and any ranged weapon attack made through the dome automatically misses because the attack is deflected upwards.

You can pass through the dome unhindered, as the waters part as you pass through. As an action, all other creatures can attempt to pass through the dome by making a Strength (Athletics) ability check against your spell save DC. If they succeed, they can move through the dome. If they fail, they are pushed back 2m and knocked

Prone
. Either way, the creature attempting to do this takes 5d6 Water damage.

As a reaction, you can shape the water in such a way that water doesn't flow in the area of a Circle of radius up to 2m on the dome until the end of the turn. You can use this reaction at any time. For example, when an ally moves within 2m of the dome, you can use this reaction to cause a gap so they can move freely into the dome; or when an ally prepares to make a ranged weapon attack from within the dome, you can use this reaction to cause a gap so that the shot goes through unhindered.
